Dozo Sushi and Bar: Exceptional Japanese Cuisine in Colorado Springs

Who would have thought some of the best sushi I’ve ever had would be found in Colorado Springs? This place is incredible. Service is great. Sushi is phenomenal. Prices are reasonable. And they have a fantastic Gluten Free menu and knowledge of allergies. A+ all around.

This was my first time here and it was amazing! The service was above and beyond, the restaurant itself was beautiful, clean, and well organized, but the food itself was the star of the show. The sushi menu had so many different options and it tasted so good. The complementary miso soup was delicious. With how much we ordered it actually came out pretty quickly. Definitely recommend this place!

Enjoyed the chicken gyoza ramen. Spicy and a lot of vegetables. Nice, old school, touch to have a warm hand towel, miso soup, and chopsticks as the norm. Great service. A book nook and fireplace. Outdoor seating also looks great

Delicious. My dining partner loved the ambience. Chicken yakisoba was apparently delicious. I got some veggie sushi and it was delicious and beautifully presented. Will definitely be back...

Was in Colorado Springs area and we were in the mood for some sushi. Being in Colorado we were not expecting much, but we were happily surprised by this unassuming restaurant. Dinner started with complimentary hot towels for our hands, as well as included flavorful miso soup. I ordered a very inventive Halloween themed cocktail (matched the tastefully done Halloween decor of the restaurant). Soon after came the sushi platter we ordered (large portions, so I recommend ordering one less than you may normally order). My daughter ordered a bowl of ramen, which was delicious and large as well. Quality of the sushi was spot on! The food was extremely flavorful, fresh and creative. Our waitress was very nice, and the restaurant, was crowded but we never felt rushed. I highly recommend this location if you live nearby or are traveling to the area and have a wish for high quality sushi.

We went to Dozo my son and I. Had a great experience. Been coming here for quite some time. The restaurant has a very nice, welcoming vibe, and the service is always attentive and friendly. The food is delicious, and the presentation is always well done. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening.

This is our favorite sushi spot in town. We’ve come here multiple times, and have never been disappointed. The food and drinks are incredible. I’d recommend every single roll and appetizer we’ve had— you simply cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The restaurant is lovely. The staff is friendly. The music choices are fantastic. All in all, it’s a great place to go.

Plate presentation is absolutely beautiful and different from other sushi places. I personally think the rolls have a bit too much rice, but the taste was good anyway.
